Amnesty Intl blast China for drug-dealer executions

#1
China has celebrated the run-up to International Ant-drugs Day and the UN International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking with a number of executions and death sentences. Predictably, the Guardian readers at AI have taken the usual step of condemning (pun intended) China for this.

A pinko said:
"We have seen an annual spree of executions in China in the run-up to UN International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in previous years," it said.

"Yet no convincing evidence has ever been produced that the death penalty deters would-be traffickers and users more effectively than any other punishment."
This may be so, but the rate of re-offending is non-existent, and think of the savings on benefits if we introduced it!

Waste of good ammo. These bastar*ds should be injected with a massive OD of their own product. Let the punishment fit the crime.
