Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I like Regimental music and was suprised when I discovered that the SAS have a Regimental quick and slow march. However, I was disappointed to learn that the quick march is "Marche des Parachutistes Belges" and slow was Lili Marlene as I think the theme from the Pink Panther complete with walking on tippy toes would be more appropriate. Does anyone else think that some regiments have inappropriate marches and what the correct march should be?

  3. AGC (SPS) quick march 'The muppets theme tune'.

AGC (PRO) 'Killing in the name'.

    AGC (ETS) 'Hot for Teacher'

R Signals 'We are the Robots'

R Artillery 'Boom Boom Boom Boom, I want you in my room'

RAC 'The fat person walking trumpet song'

    HCR/HCMR 'I like money'

RE 'If I had a hammer'

RAVC 'how much is that doggy in the window'
  4. Surely the AGC (SPS) march is Backstabbers by the OJays
  5. RMP - "Hey, hey, we're the Monkees"
  6. REME Armourers' march - Nelly the elephant

  7. Once tasked to get Regimental Marches for a many capbadge dinner, I found all of them less the RMP one. Its called "the Watchtower" so I substituted a bit of Jimi Hendrix's "All Along the Watchtower".

Even the monkeys thought it was funny so I don't know why the RSM waved 5 at me.
