I am thinking about pursing an application for the Army Legal Service. I am a bit old (35), but I understand they will consider "case by case" elderly people like me. However, it is hard to get a proper understanding of the work they do, and I would be interested in hearing from anyone who is currently serving as to how happy they are in their job. I've practised for 12 years now and have loads of experience (albeit entirely in Civil law) and think it would make an interesting change, but will I regret giving up the high fees, and flexibility of self employment?? If the job is worth it then I'll go for it!
