Allowed political activity?

Hope this is the right forum.

Being a firm Cameron man, I was wondering what the current rules were on political activity in the Army nowadays. I appareciate that any form of activty must be strictly without an army hat on, but what are we allowed to do?

I'm thinking that being a member of a party is ok, but what about dropping off leaflets etc? School governorships? Attending weekly constituency meetings?

Any guidance much appreciated.

See QRs for the Army, Part 14.

No, I'm afraid there's a distinct smell of crow. And it's a genuine question. I'd much rather get abused here than ask an extremely geeky question in the mess...

So the no political activity thing in QRs hasn't been relaxed in practice at all?
