Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. There doesn't seem to be a spotters forum on Arrse so here seemed the most appropriate place.

For all Arrse anoraks (myself included), this is unlikely ever to happen again. All six remaining Gresley A4s will be on display at the NRM York from the 3rd to the 17th July 13. Entry is FREE. Details here:-

  2. Should be worth a look.

  14. I have to say that IS a thing of beauty.
  15. Sounds like we are getting a few converts . For the waverers and still unconvinced can I add that entry to the Railway Museum is FREE and that York boasts some of the finest hosteleries in the North .
( Cue thread diversion to " No it hasn't , the pubs in Cumbria are much better , etc , etc )
