Can we not get the UAE to do him? I'm pretty sure that their punishment would fit the crime more and save us spending tens of thousands of pounds a year clothing, feeding and heating him.

I quite like being a grandad, it means I can give them back when they have hissy fits.
Thankfully they live over a hundred miles away so I don't get asked to do babysitting very often.
Q: Why do grandparents and grandchildren get along so well?

A: Because they have a common enemy.

We used to walk past the FV432 outside the Aldershot Military Museum on the way to the hanger to work on our 432s. The museum one was in better nick.
In days of yore we trained with M48 Pattons w/ searchlight. Patton Museum had one on display that was a tank commander's wet dream. We were exhorted to get our level of maintenance up to match that of the one in the Patton museum, but it was not humanly possible, no matter how hard the whip was laid on.

If nothing else, I'm happy to see a Casino Indian like yourself use a portrait of Robert Edward Lee as your avatar.

SPC G*** B*** he was a mate of mine. We went to Panama together. He later retired as a Sergeant-Major.

Of course I would have The First Gentleman of the South as my avatar (for a while). One branch of our family did fight for the South during the War Between The States. He's now a citizen again too as his citizenship was restored to him by President Ford. (Something the BLM haters don't know or care about.)

Do you mean the haters within BLM or those that hate BLM? - I'm not entirely sure where BLM stand on Original Americans

One of the Squadrons at a Northern RAF Base used to regularly visit the gate guardian and rob bits off it. The gate guardian had less flying hours than the aircraft they were operating, had a better state of repair (i.e. it was painted every time the SWO thought it looked scruffy) and some of the parts were no longer manufactured so it was the only place they could get them

"HMS Severn enters Portsmouth this evening to an unwelcome “sail-past” from jet-skiers ignoring harbour regulations.

RN vessels have light weapons manned on entering/leaving harbour. Small craft behaving like this in a restricted channel risk being shot at".

No sane person likes jetskiers but I'm not having that. This is the entrance to Portsmouth harbour and they were on the correct side of the channel and keeping clear. One of the best things about our country is that we co-exist with our Navy - and every other Service - and are not required to cower to the side or kowtow whenever they are on the move.

So Chief Dan George's character in "The Outlaw Josey Wales" was your great-great-grand poppy?
