That is excellent work mate, those figures have stood the test of time well, and your conversion work takes them that bit further.

thanks, I'm thinking of doing something similar for our D DAY Group build next year, Tommies pinned down on Sword. It's the only time you can group them tightly together, as Infantry normally spread out.

I do like, that....
According to my ol' Grandad, Italian Infantry rather grouped together, especially when in the retiring manoeuvre..
A few years back I chatted with someone about North Africa back in WW2, father of an Irish lass I was skydiving with. He said that when they took German positions they used to find dug in bunkers with copious amount of ammo. When they took Italian positions they used to find dug in bunkers mainly full of wine and porno. I gave him the raised eyebrows and he swore blind it was true and the 8th Army used to duly liberate the stuff for moral purposes.

In the initial kicking given to the Italians, I believe several brothels were ahem liberated

I found on another site a step by step almost of one the first busts I did. Would it be of interest if I posted it here?

I just wanted to see if there was an interest Mr Smart Arse :cuddle: and I don't want to be seen as bigging myself up as an expert, I'm not.

200mm Jacobite clansman bust by Youngs.

Still got some tidying up of much too bushy & harsh eyebrows to do plus plenty of clothing inc the tartan for his waistcoat & cloak.
