  1. Fcuk me what will this shower of shite we call a government dream up next?

For those that can't access the link

"The Government is to issue its first set of guidelines on safe alcohol consumption for the under 18s.

Children, Schools and Families Secretary Ed Balls said the guidance - to be unveiled at this week's Labour Party Conference in Bournemouth - would be directed at the parents of teenagers.

The aim, he said in an interview with The Sunday Telegraph, would be to discourage excessive drinking in the family home.

It will be accompanied by a new crackdown on shops and off licences which sell alcohol to under age youngsters.

"Currently we don't have any guidance at all for parents on alcohol consumption and its impact on under 18s. That worries me," Mr Balls said.

"When I was 16 or 17, I would have a small glass of wine at lunch on a Sunday or a shandy or a Babycham at Christmas.

"That's fine - a lot of parents do that and that's not where the problem lies, it's where parents are allowing kids to consume substantial quantities of alcohol.

"We need to help parents get the balance right and put behind us the excessive drinking culture."

Concern about teenage drinking crystallised last month after the killing of father-of-three Garry Newlove after he approached a group of youths in the street in Warrington, Cheshire.

Cheshire Chief Constable Peter Fahy publicly attacked parents who turned a blind eye to their children's drinking and he called for a ban on alcohol consumption in public places."
  2. This isn't the first time they've tried to or actually introduce limits wrt drinking, all of them since they brought in 24hr selling of alcohol. Concidence?
  3. Poof.
  4. How long before they ban drinking in pubs?
  5. I know I was in the Asda by the Trafford Cntre a few weeks back and some mong of a dad was asking his 6 or 7 year old kid what alcopops he wanted. He went straight for the WKDs. I was fcuking stunned, by the time I realised what had just happened they'd already disappeared.

Give chavs pure ethanol and see if they still want a drink after it.

    Edited for mong typing
  6. I made 99% Ethanol in chemistry once, in 6th form. I just had to taste the blasted thing. I'll tell you what it does taste like when I get my tongue working again :)
  7. You just can't get through to these people in government.

"Listen, sh1t for brains, the sensible people don't need the rules, the stupid people won't follow them."

Still, I suppose they can spend a few million creating pensioned posts for NuLabor apparatchiks as alcohol advisors for the under-tens, plus an army of staff who (and whose families) will never vote for smaller government.
  8. Damn kids these days.
  9. Ban all drinking in pubs/clubs for under 21's unless they are members of HM forces. Then when asked why "THEY" should be allowed to drink before reaching the age of 21 it can be explained that "THEY" have given more to this fecking country than most other people under 21.

Rant over but it really grips my shite when i go to the pub and its full lazy, chav, dole scrounging twats who get pished on there dole money.

  10. Nah, c'mon mate. Say what you really feel about them
