Couldn't possibly be true; the renowned oncologist David Cameron posited that Al Megrahi was pulling an Ernest Saunders only a few days ago.

I'd not want to stand against his medical expertise.

Golly. There's quite an echo in here today.

Who cares? Chances are he didn't even do it, which mean that the real murderers are stil out there. What's that? Governments playing with the truth to avoid a diplomatic meltdown? Never!

"If anyone killed a person not in retaliation for murder or to spread mischief in the land, it would be as if he killed the whole of mankind."
(Surah Al-Maaida 5:32, Koran)

"We shall say: 'Lay hold of him and bind him. Burn him in the fire of Hell, then fasten him with a chain seventy cubits long. For he did not believe in Allah, the Most High...'" (69:28 Koran)

He is going to meet his maker.

If the Cnut is dead then that's the best news I've heard all week.

I'd start another thread about it, but there's about 15 already.

Whatever your views on whether he did it or not, and there are quite a lot of people who feel that he didn't do it including some such as Swire who probably knows more than anybody else about that terrible event, he was still undoubtedly a Libyan intelligence officer in the pay of Gaddafi. Either way, he wasn't exactly a sweet and innocent was he? So, good riddance!

Not so, the judges found "nothing in the evidence which leaves us with any reasonable doubt as to the guilt..". That is the law.
That'll be news to the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission then. They found fundamental flaws in the evidence and withholding of such by the prosecution.

The fact remains he was convicted of nearly 300 counts of murder. The law says he did it.
The law said that Stefan Kiszko and Barry George did it too.

However, since you clearly value revenge over justice, I suspect we'll have to agree to disagree.
