Ah so one of those tech transfer deals the US is so not keen on.
I,e, you only get acess to our market if you take on a local partner and share all intellectual property.
All airbuses tech edge ( if any) shot away in one deal.oh well.

Does not matter in this case as the H175 is a commercial helicopter,

Now one could argue about when they built the AS365N Dauphin under license in China as the Z-9, susbequently forms the backbone of the PLAAF and PLAN RW fleet with a multitude of missions such as attack, EW, ISTAR, ASW, SAR, transport etc etc. The .Z-9 has been exported as well to the likes of some African countries.

Their Z-19 attack helicopter which kinda corss between the Kawasaki OH-X and in some wird form or fashion the cancelled Boeing Sikorsky RAH-66 Coamnche. Some components have been taken from the Z-9 and used in design/development of the Z-19. Notably peeps were saying they used the tail and fenestron plus engines...and then stuck on tandem two seat cockpit with sensors plus bolt on ahrdpoint stub wings.

This is now being offered for export.

Cheers
