Air Flights in the COVID 19 months.

BA , Ryan, Easy jet, TAP and many others have cancelled most of not all flights to European airports.

Anyone know why Lufthansa is still flying from the main hubs through Germany and onto other countries. So no direct flights from Rome to London but fine to go via Frankfurt? With a 4 hour stop over? Madness

Why hasn't the EU closed down flights by Lufthansa?

The Germans tried twice to conquer the world. By brutal force of arms. They failed both times.

Now, is an Eastern Power, using more subtle methods?

Lufty have cut back schedules by more than 50%. Their long-haul fleet by more than that.

I was at Frankfurt on the 16th airside around 18:15 and it was fairly deserted.

Being that Germany is the paymaster of the EU, this should answer your question.
