Age for joining reserves

Does anyone know when the min age went from 16 to 18 for reserve service?

It has never ever ever ever ever ever been 16. Possibly.

It always used to be 17.5 20 years ago.

Not if you knew how to play the system 17 years 2 months for me.
The age change has come in due to the child soldier policy. Where the regular guys under 18 are always SUT the TA/AR system could be short circuited as I proved. I had my number early as my checks where easy to do.

Last wednesday

Tuesday about teatime for any reserve chappy.
