THE BBC has broadcast an apology after a retired general used the phrase "n***er in the woodpile" during an interview on Radio 4's news programme Today.

Only a glance is sufficient to understand: true, brave soldier, a Man.

"Suddenly they think 'well I want to be supported by everybody at home, I want parents and girlfriends and wives to know that we're here for a good cause'.

"And that's the problem at the moment...we need to be given more evidence that they're there for a very good reason."

He has been quoted as being sceptical about the possibility of a new war against Saddam Hussein, and especially about the validity of the much vaunted dossier.
It appears that the war was possible even without any evidences.

Major General Patrick Cordingley believes a second Gulf War would be pointless as it would only lead to tens of thousands of Iraqis being needlessly killed.
And as we know now it happened.

Will the BBC apologise for its policy of not using the word terrorist when refering to suicide bombers too? I guess not, nor will it apologise for saying that racism was an element in the deaths of hurricane Katrina now that the true picture of who died has emerged. The BBC would put PRAVDA to shame!

1. I categorically demand that the estate of the late Joseph Conrad change the title of one of his novels to The African-American of the Narcissus.

2. I recall reading somewhere of a large daily newspaper which used editing software that automatically replaced the word "black" with "African-American."

They felt obliged to alter it following publication of a headline dealing with a budget being "back in the African-American."

Agatha Christie's famous whodunnit is now referred to as "AND THEN THERE WERE NONE"

not "TEN LITTLE n***er BOYS"

Well, I have to deal with a large number of corrupt and unholily bad-smelling wogs on a daily basis. Most are fairly manageable, but many are complete cnuts. I also have to cope with a total bstard of an SA white and a pair of insufferably bright Indian tw*ts.

Everything really revolves around the Management of the Situation, including the country and the continent.

'Niggers'? That's a term the Arabs use, isn't it? Oh, no, 'Kaffirs', that's right...

It gets complicated when emptying the bin, to use the expression "fetch me a fresh Diana Ross, luv" instead of "Black Bag" though doesn't it......

I laugh at the sheer hypocrisy of labels, it's ok for the N word to be used by VMEGS (Visible Minority Ethnic Groups) to use the PC terminology, it's even OK for Tarrantino to use it in his movies, however when it comes to historicaly factual movies namely the dam Busters, Guy Gibsons dog n***er is suddenly redubbed Blackie courtesy of Channel 4 ministry of truth operatives. I appreciate that the N word is highly offensive but to change a historically factual name which is reflective of past attitudes smacks of Orwellian censorship and merely draws attention to the motives of those intent on rewriting our history.

Having met the General numerous times I can not speak highly enoguh of him. He is a genuinely friendly man with some very considered academic views, whilst being humble about them and his own background.

Everytime I have heard him speak to a group his experiance shines throguh and when listening to him speak about the situation in Iraq and the such you can tell he genuinely cares about the troops.

A top man who, as I understand it, let slip what is simply as old phrase. I have heard far worse used numerous times I do hope it ends at this.
