The English have a succesful history of incorporating foreign talent in to their military
eg combining the Highland Charge with the English bayonet to win for them the British Empire; the Maori Patu to club German paratroops in the NZ units at Crete; the Gurkha Kukri to behead German more paratroops at Monte Cassino; and now the scimitars of Afghan refugees, to create 'elite special-operations' flying squads to police the UK and elsewhere against threats domestic and foreign. These Afghanis are descended from warriors who successfully fought off Alexander the Great, the Mongols, the Moguls, the British, Indians, Persians, Pakistanis, Uzbeks, Tadjiks, Chinese, Soviets, Taliban, ISIS etc etc

After taking in Afghan commandos, the British military may try to build another elite special-operations force
The British military has a history of taking in foreign fighters, some of whom have developed their own fearsome reputations.
