Really? I'd no idea that these were so prevalent in Afghanistan. Any idea as to the origin of them? Supplied to the Afghan communists in the 80s perhaps?
Anything old and Russian is pretty prolific. We had a few in the AO. One was used daily against our balloon. Until we killed the shit out of the firer.
