Im afraid to say Im one of those journos on the site that you all hate.

Im making a short documentary for my uni course about how servicemen and women have to buy private insurance - which I think the public would be very shocked about if they knew the extent of this. As part of this I want to explain that part of the problem is due to an "inadequate" AFCS. I'm really interested to speak to anyone who has dealt with the AFCS - maybe received compensation which you thought should have been more, or were not paid compensation for an injury, etc.

I've spoken to the Royal British Legion, Mick Smith (defence editor of the Sunday Times), Andrew Murrison defence minister, and hopefully Derek Twigg.

Thank you
