Advice on finding Service Records

Now the Army bit I am familiar with, it's the Navy thing that I know next to bugger all about. Like most of his generation, he just didn't talk about it. Now he was born in Feb 1925, which would make him
15 and a half when he joined.

I left his name up as I am guessing persec wont be an issue.....

Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

(waiting to get a new one ripped by Jarrod for not using the search)

War Hero
FZC link is the way to go, but be prepared for a bit of a wait, took 9 months to get my old boys records. Also remember you will need a copy of his death certificate.
When I got my fathers the wartime stuff was a bit thin, vague and short on details, I assuming that was a product of the times. His postwar stuff contained everything I expected it to.
