Advice for would be Hunt Sabs

When I read this post a minute ago I thought; "fucks sake that makes you sound a right ****".
I've sat and thought about it and now wholeheartedly agree.
I'd be interested to see what phones that people who are using food banks have in their pockets.

And now I'm sat in my kitchen, hating everyone, seething at the world we live in. Which is actually normal for a Tuesday night.
Food is cheap if you buy fresh and prepare it , when you are not working you have plenty of time , if you really need a phone they start at £10.00 , people should not expect to be able to run a car on benefits but plenty do and have holidays.

I love whale meat, better than any supermarket bought pap.
I've been going to Norway, right up the top, for the last 4 years to fish for huge cod and halibut.
In casual conversation with the fishing business owner, got around to what else they eat and he said Whale, and would I like to try some ?
Very dark in colour, with a flavour and texture similar to a nice cut of steak.

Bastard!!

I would love to be able to fish Northern Norway for cod and halibut.

Save up your pocket money, it's worth every penny.

Edit : While it is initially quite expensive, you are allowed to bring back 22Kg of fish with you.
At the end of each day we fillet and skin the catch, portion up the thickest cuts, wrap and deep freeze. Pack it into freezer boxes for travel on the last day.
Eat the rest while we are there.

That's got to be at least £350 worth of prime cod so offsets the overall price of holiday.

Yes - hes such aa abrasive its this or your wrong personality - even those in broad agreement wind up disagreeing with him

I reckon after 20 minutes on a panel with him debating the virtues of socialism, Karl Marx would be pushing capitalism
Karl's would be the wrong sort of Marxism.

I know--------- 4--6 holidays in Wogo land--- car--- BFO tv--- phone contract.

Where did I go wrong????

Nope, not seeing it...

Oh didn't someone have fun registering that one!

Factoid: There was a report on local telly last week about a druggy who had gone into an empty house to go and smoke his weed. Once in there he was muchly surprised to find a living, breathing tiger also in the house - I think he probably shit his pants actually. The tiger was caged, well fed and cared for, just in an empty house. The errant druggy did the decent thing and told the authorities, they came along and rescued the tiger and it now lives happily in a big cat sanctuary.
In 1974 I was living in London, actually Knightsbridge as one could in those days before the Arab invasion drove rental prices through the roof. Anyway, off to the supermarket one Saturday morning and had just gone through the "Hole in the Wall" and walking towards Brompton Road when I saw what I thought was a very large Great Dane lying on the rear seats of an Alfa GTA. When I got closer I realised that it was a young lioness who with a collar was chained to a bolt attached to the shelf behind the rear seats. To say I did a double-take was an understatement not to mention taking a diversion to the other side of the road as her head slowly turned to follow me but otherwise totally disinterested in her surroundings. The car was gone on by my return journey.

Not sure about your neck of the woods, but Twotters in North America don’t usually have vg kits installed on them, Beavers yes, Twotters not so much.
Eh? VGs on the vert and hor stab are standard. Never seen one without them, although a -200 I operated had fewer than the -300.

Operated a number of US and Canuckistani owned ones fresh off the reg as well, all fitted standard with VGs. They're essential bits of kit and any damage or loss is noted as an engineering item.

And there I was thinking it'd taste like fish. Every day a school day.

There was a poverty porn programme a while ago. Single mum, unemployed, fat as butter, thick as mince, heating up a tin of own brand econo-soup for her one meal of the day as she didn't want her little sprog to go hungry. Fags and Sky box in clear sight. A medium sized chicken could have fed her and the sproglet for a week - roast on Sunday, strip the carcass of all meat and use for risotto, curries in the week and make soup from what's left.

These types don't consider crisps, biscuits & snacks to be "real food", so the 4,000kcal their daily intake of such items contains has no bearing whatsoever on their size.

Don't get caught.
Always the best advice the RSM gave out on joining the Battalion
