Advance of accom & subsistence costs

My OH is due to go on a resettlement course soon. It's a civvy course and there is no military accommodation anywhere near. She has booked a hotel through CHBS, but has been told that she can only get 80% of the costs in advance - this means she will have to find around £400.

However, a reply to a letter in the current edition of Soldier states that the policy has been changed so that 100% can be claimed in advance,a nd that further detail can be found in JSP752 Chap 3, Sect 1, Part 3. The admin office claim not to know about the change.

Both SWMBO and I have looked at the JSP but cannot find the relevant part to quoote to the AO. Advice from those in the know much appreciated!

Just for you, look at para 03.0170 of the JSP 752. It states that 100% are admissable.
