Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I am booked onto this course next week at Blandford. Just wondering whether anyone else who has been on it could let me know what things you do on it and any handy advice.

    Thaks in advance :D
  2. Signal
  3. Don't know how long your course is but if I were you I would take plenty of reading material and beer tokens.

Blandford is dull! Beyond belief. Nice museum though.

Alternatively it might be a really intensive course and you won't have time to be bored!!
  4. I am guessing that I have already replied to this query on the site! However to recap: you will need to take Combat 95 for working dress, making sure you have ACF or CCF rank slides. You will need smart civvies for dining - depending on which mess you are in. Casual clothes for bowling and the DCCT. It is fairly intensive, but we have time to enjoy ourselves as well. There will probably be a course dinner one night, possibly in the Greyhound Inn in town.
I will supply manuals to anyone who does not already have them.

Good luck, see you there, and enjoy the course!
