Divernan submitted a new resource:

Across an Angry Sea. - The SAS in the Falklands War

The foreword is written by the journalist and renowned military historian Sir Max Hastings, who actually appeared on a mountain top helicopter landing site with the Regimental Commander at night, during operations...

An extraordinary man, never seeking the limelight and always thinking of others. He is a competent photographer who, after losing a leg in a traffic accident, became chairman of the British Limbless Ex Servicemens Association for a number of years.

A very interesting account of D Squadron 22 SAS's role in the Falklands war by the then squadron commander now Lt Gen Sir Cedric Delves. A comprehensive warts and all account, triumphs and tragedies, good and bad luck. South Georgia, Pebble Island and Mount Kent to name some of the topics. Bloody good read.

I met Sir Cedric back in Feb 2019 while we were both on unconnected visits to the Falkland Islands. Top man.
