Abu Hamza extradition to go ahead

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Radical Muslim cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri has been refused leave to appeal to the House of Lords against his extradition to the US.

The US authorities want him to face trial on charges which include providing support to al-Qaeda.

The Egypt-born preacher is currently serving a seven-year jail term in the UK for inciting murder and race hate.

Home Secretary Jacqui Smith formally approved the extradition in February after a court gave the go-ahead.

Lawyers for Abu Hamza, from west London, have been fighting his extradition since the request was first filed in May, 2004.

  4. At last ! At least when the Americans give a sentence it means what it says. No time off for good behaviour, more time for bad behaviour.
Now all we need is his huge social security scrounging family to go there to be with him.

  5. Any volunteers to fit him for his orange jump suit?

  6. Oh dear, how sad, never mind. lovely boy.

Cuba is supposed to be quite nice at this time of year, and he can be with all his little friends/parishoners

First bit of decent news for a while.

For once the justice system gets something right. Hawkeye off to the US where hopefully they will bang him away for the rest of his natural life.
