Abbey National and JPA

I recently changed my pensions to Abbey National. The problem with Glasgow/JPA is that they need the exact details.
Normally Bank name: Abbey National, Account Number 00050005 (This identifies Abbey National NOT your account, Sort Code for your branch and then Roll Number - which is YOUR account number. If they misinterpret this info then the dosh don't appear!!!
Hope this helps

And you have identified one of the mysteries of JPA.... why on earth has it invented new words for things that we understand because they have been in use in the English language (British version) or the Services for a very long time?

It's because JPA is based on Oracle and businesses have been using it for donkeys....
