AAC running time

#1
I know this has been asked lots for general Army Entry times but when I did a search I could not find one specifically for the AAC. So just wondering what the run time should be?

I can do it in 12 minutes now but need a proper target to aim for.

Cheers for any help :)

Is it not the same as the rest? I'm pretty sure it is. 10.5mins in trainers after an 800m squadded warm up. For the AAC you should be slightly better than the rest and aim for a good infantry time of around 9 mins.

This is Standard for the whole army 10 Minutes 30 Seconds (under age of 30). 1.5 Miles

If ur trying some SF then u'll already be in the army.

Aha, sorry.. Brain isn't switched on.

No, I'm not in the Army, i've had to lose a few stone and shift my run time from 2 hours to 12 minutes hah.

Just trying to get into the AAC at the moment. Weight is down but run time needs harsh improvement.

Cheers for all the help.

Didn't go this morning, will go tonight when I get in from work.

Couple of rolls indeed! It is times like this you wish you'd tried harder at a young age. Oh well! onwards and upwards as they say..

11:34 tried to run harder at the end. Very painful.

Going to try some longer distance running i.e. 3 miles and run it for a few weeks.

Well done - that's almost 30 secs off in two days. Longer distance - 3 miles - thought the test was 3 miles; 1.5 out and 1.5 back!!

nonetheless stick at it and good luck.

Stop trying to beast yourself into beating your time every day! (thats what it sounds like anyway)

PFT time, or personnel fitness test time, is 10:30 for everybody, regardless of capbadge or regiment. Except females...who get something ridiculous.

Do 2 weeks training, try again. Fartlek training, swimming...sprint training.
