A visit to an Israeli boneyard

It's not per se just a general request to keep this thread as intended, I have asked if the posts can be moved I am not sure if I can do it to another forum or not. I don't want them lost, just more appropriately placed. Edit It appears I can so I will put them in this thread https://www.arrse.co.uk/community/threads/iron-dome-swamped.304829/page-2 and they can balance the disinformation.
OK - fair enough.
What with all the "excitement" around here I forgot this is actually a thread in the modelling forum.

Members of an Israeli forum on a guided tour of IAI took these pictures of the third IAI Lavi prototype.
The other two are on static display only and the project was scrapped.

A recent photo of the remains of the Syrian Panzer at Nukheila (knocked out in the fighting of June 1967)
When I tried to visit it in 1977, there was a wild bees' nest inside it.

I think that the words just below and fwd of the cockpit say it all.

another pic has emerged of a Syrian Stug on the Golan Heights.
Unlikely that it was taken in the June war because there are no puddles like the ones in the picture outside of the winter months. Also, the electricity pole appears to be of the Israeli concrete type.

Is that a Josef Stalin behind it?

According to Wiki the StuG was originally a purely a direct fire weapon in support of the infantry. As such it belonged to the Artillery. Later it had other uses.

PS. The one in loofys picture might be a StuG IV.
No I'm not a tank spotter, neither am I a donkey walloper.

Is this vintage tank porn?

To test for that you need to close your eyes and concentrate on the sensation in your loins.
Do not look at the FBIU thread prior to conducting the test.
In the event you feel nothing at all do not be alarmed - most of your fellow Arrsers are way beyond that stage too.

I'm tempted to ask how you got that information, but that there are some things best left unsaid.
Apart from which I'm not a heavy metal fan, to me such things are merely moving targets.
