While dashing for the train, I glimpsed a fellow dressed in no 2 dress trousers and cap with an mtp style jacket, carrying a pace stick talking on a mobile. Automatically I quickly checked his cap badge and continued up the stairs to the platform. Here I did a mental double take, as his cap badge appeared to be Them.
My question is this; is the winged dagger badge worn on a cap or a beret as part of no 2? Is it a plain black metal badge with no background?
I am not going to go back to take a proper look as A) I am now 20 miles away! And B) if he is gen, I do not wish to upset a Them WO!

Struck me as a bit odd as I always thought They would travel incognito, but half 6 is an odd time to Walt!

  2. Them in SD caps? Not since the 1950s.
  3. I will ask M*** C****** the former RSM if any WO's wear SD caps but I'd imagine it would be 'No'
  4. You mean there has only ever been one other!?
  5. If it was grammatically incorrect, how should it have been written? (no wah)
  6. "A former RSM" would have possibly been better, but I am happy to be put right.
