Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I thought that I had posted about this last year, but I did a search and reviewed my posts and nothing came up. If the mods find I did actually post about this previously, feel free to delete.

Anyway, as the Remembrance Day is soon to be upon us, I thought it might interest some if I posted this link to a relevant video.

Mr. Terry Kelly is a Canadian musician, who, on 11 November 1999 was in a store where he lives. The management announced that they would be pausing at 1100 hrs to observe two minutes of silence as a sign of respect for the fallen. However, another shopper, accompanied by his small child, became somewhat perturbed that the store staff would not respond to him during the two minutes of silence.

As a result Mr. Kelly wrote "A Pittance Of Time". The video can be found (free of charge) at Mr. Kelly's website (http://www.terry-kelly.com/power.htm) or at the Royal Canadian Legion website (http://www.legion.ca/asp/docs/home/home_e.asp), it is at the bottom of the page.

Again, I apologize if I did post this last year. Cheers to all.
  2. Cheers Wotan
