Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. No doubt I'll get a good slagging off for this by many but here goes; much is being made by the media, especially the public funded BBC, about Lady Thatcher haters buying "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead".

How about an opposing campaign to buy and promote "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square", a song Maggie used to sing in her last days at The Ritz and the first song her and Dennis danced to when they met in 1949?

  2. No Harry Connick Jr's version is the best. It is one of my favourite songs but now feel a little uneasy about it at the thought of him singing it to her.
