In this auction you can bid for a massive crystal paperweight made by Thomas Lyte.

It is a replica of the button Dame Shirley Bassey pressed to release the champagne and launch the SS Adonia.

Further description and photo will follow by GRB.

The item was kindly donated by Cunard Line.

Please note that the auction will run until 11th November 16:00 hrs UK time.

    Looks absolutely gorgeous, GRB. :)

It's what they call a brilliant cut, isn't it ?

Not sure about the cut, but it's conical in shape, with the carving on the flat top and it's very heavy!

It sure looks very heavy ... and I think that's exactly what Jarrod liked most about it. ;-)
