Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Some chap had put a load of these into the "recycling", I couldnt resist and recycled them for him, straight into the boot of my car. no idea how many, 5 bundles each about 8" thick so a good few.
Havent had a chance to sit down and have a look, simple question, good find or should I have left them in the recycling?

  3. To be quite honest I haven't got an igloo.
I'm into WW1 history anyway so may well just hoard them for myself, unless of course they are worth shit loads of money!!

  4. I'll probably keep them, unless of course I've got the holy grail of the "missing one", whichever that one is ;-)

  5. Is that the one that covers the murder of " Speckled Jim " ?

I'll get my trench coat .

    Ouch.

  7. I bought that entire series in hardback in 13 volumes (it cost $175 Cdn in 1997ish). I seem to remember that it was by the Amalgamated Press.
