A hypothetical court martial question

You're in a foreign country fighting a war, a POW dies in custody -seems like torture - in fact it was. This is a small Coy location and not a detention centre. Rules say you should have handed him over within 14 hours, this is 48 hours later.

Years later, NCOs understandably on trial but not the officers (again). Discuss...

Factors to consdier: 8 prisoners in a small coy location for 48 hours - did the OC have no awareness of this whatsoever?
Where was the doctor checking every few hours?
Why were they not sent to the internment facility?
Will officers not taking responsibility be the norm from now one because it seems to bl**dy well be so so far in this hypothetical war?

Your hypothetical question seems like you want to discuss a factual event??.
