Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Fugly

    Fugly LE DirtyBAT

Edit, as jon has fixed it :)
  2. works for me
  3. Some of the comments on the 'Dear Leader':

"If Blair had been a director of Enron he would be doing 40 years".
    General Sir Michael Rose

"Tony Blair's great strength is that he his a wonderful actor".
    Michael Howard MP

"Tony Blair is not and never has been Labour".
    Lord Hattersley

"Tony Blair's real legacy could be the destruction of the Labour Party".
    Tony Benn
    Please let this be true.

    "Yo Blair".

"Tony Blair is impressed by wealth, uniforms, intelligence officers and religious people".
    Neil Kinnock

You all know the three greatest lies in the world:

    1. The cheque is in the post.
    2. I promise to take it out if it hurts, and:
    3. "Today Britain is better educated, healthier, safer, fairer and more prosperous than ten years ago".
David Blunkett - Has this man visited Planet Earth recently ?
  4. 4. Tough on Crime. Tough on the causes of Crime.
    5. 24 Hrs to save the NHS
    6. 45 Minutes away from destruction (Or words to that effect)
    7. Cherie is a beautiful selfless and honest woman whose integrity knows no bounds and would rather starve than charge £100.000 to a childrens cancer charity.

(OK I made the last one up but you get the picture!)
  5. One word. Four letters. Starts with 'C'.
  6. You obviously didn't watch todays Daily Politics, some very nice things said about Him except by an ex Thatcher Youth type bod who is busy promoting his right wing book
  7. Stop it Sven, you can't polish a turd.
  8. Dunno Bravo - for a turd he's pretty polished but still smells bad.
  9. " And it will be a government that seeks to restore trust in politics in this country. That cleans it up, that decentralises it, that gives people hope once again that politics is and always should be about the service of the public. And it shall be government too, that gives this country strength and confidence in leadership both at home and abroad..."

A speech by Tony Blair outside Number 10 Downing Street on May 2nd 1997.
I would comment but I'm lost for words.
  10. From this:

"Vote for me! Things can only get better!"

    To this:

  11. You only just made it up Cad. The true figure is £74,900 paid to Cherie and the caterers who supplied the dinner where she was an after dinner speaker.

Only £6,729 was left for the kids' cancer charity after Cherie had her snout in the trough.

It's unbelievable that somebody on 300 grand a year would have the brass neck to charge a five figure fee to do half an hour's work for a child cancer charity.
  12. Hum ... and too think once TCB leaves the public trough she will no doubt charge even more along with his slimyness....meanwhile they will still be at the public purse with security details etc ..... :x
