Heard something on the Radio this morning, it's 90 years today. According to the programme it was the birth of armoured warfare

  2. Battle of Ramnagar will be 159 years old on Thursday. And we had been around for 133 years previous to that. Armoured warfare began with the invention of Armour, and not the type that crawled across the land broke down and or bogged in, spluttered farted and then dropped all its oil. History began well before then.
