  1. I am co-authoring a book on the above Battery's history. If anyone has any information, photo's etc concerning the Battery at any time in its history, I would appreciate hearing about them.
     
  2. My father served in France with 88 Bty for most of World War I. Eventually, I believe, he came to command it as a temporary Major. He wrote some memoirs, of which there is a copy in the Imperial War Museum so you may have come across them already. If not, I can send you the relevant extracts, which may come to some 50 pages (or perhaps a bit less). He finished his career as Brigadier George Travers Nugee, CBE, DSO, MC.
