  1. I really like the comment:-

"The MoD also said bayonets were not regarded as weapons by the military although conceded that if the police saw someone walking down the street with one, they would probably be arrested."

Some spokesman really thought that through.

So tell me again. Why are bayonets kept in the armoury?
  2. It also included ....... 781 towels, seven garden rakes and five snow shovels.

That sounds like a lot of buried bodies.
  3. 115 presentation shields, containing mounted can openers aka pig stickers have been made since 2008.
  4. It was a Marine unit not Green Jkt.

  5. It'll be a sea burial then. That explains the towels. Be a while before they need the rakes.
  6. Wasn't it all on the Atlantic Conveyor? Just asking

whats the difference between scrounging kit and stealing it ?

getting caught! the 11 th commandment troop .
  8. To stop booties from hurting themselves?
  9. It's another mystery - like "Why isn't body armour stored in the Armoury?"

Nunnery - where you keep nuns. Granary - where you keep grain. Piggery - where you keep pigs.

So what's the purpose of the Infantry? And why is adultery so wrong?
  10. They really should have taken notice of history.

FOFAD (and FOFAD2) were just before an audit or so the rumour goes.
