  1. I Joined the Army at the tender age of 16, now at the age of 15 (over 9 years served) I am looking forward to my 8 year money. I belived that I was elegible for my 8 year money on my 26th birthday (jan 2007) but upon looking on my pay slip i see that it says my reconable service date is July 98 over 8 years ago. Am I right in thinking that i should get my money 8 years after the date on my reckonable service date on my pay slip?

    Advice please

Buy you a drink if i do get it!!!!

  2. I have just signed for my eight year money a week ago. I joined just before my 17th birthday and have signed for it on my 26th birthday. I hope that this helps.

  6. I was one of the lucky ones who got both the 5 & 8 yr bonuses. Both were over 3 months late, and that was just getting the paper work through. The payments were in my bank Ac around 3-4 weeks later.
