    Financial Retention Incentives
Financial Retention Incentives (FRIs) are a form of AP designed to target specific areas of recruiting and retention. Your RAO will have details of the rules for FRIs. There are several types of FRI:
 Committal Bonuses. Committal Bonuses are paid to soldiers serving on an Open Engagement. A taxable bonus of £3,000 is paid to soldiers with 5 years’ reckonable service on the Open Engagement who have not given the one years’ statutory notice to leave the Army. A further taxable bonus of £2,500 is paid to soldiers with 8 years’ reckonable service on the Open Engagement who have not given the one years’ statutory notice to leave the Army.

  3. Thanks for the help, but glancing over that web page, it is very old and has financial bonuses that stopped last year.

  4. reread it carefully and you'll see that it doesnt, it is perfectly up to date.
