Apparently they are cyber experts*, though mainly recruited from 3rd rate universities which specialise in feminist and media studies.
So the British Army, which is always moaning about a lack of funding, operates a troll factory. And that troll factory is officially being used against the population of the UK? Presumably these are the same trolls who came up with the XRW campaign / dob your mates in to receive promotion.
A quick look at their website raises quite a few questions..
www.army.mod.uk
Cultural and linguistic advice presumably means they advised on the "Army needs snowflakes" recruitment campaign. Can't say I ever heard of the Stasi or Gestapo getting anything quite as wrong as that. The Scottish cybernats seem to be convinced that the 77th Media Mastodons was deployed en masse against them.
Seems they can't spell propaganda..
WHAT WE FOCUS ON
The first is to be expected of blue haired mastodons with cankles and 17 cats and no prospect whatsoever of ever breeding due to their personalities... I find the integrity and anti-corruption the most chilling. Almost as though this elite brigade of feminists, cucks and soyboys have a gun to the head of anyone who dares question their deranged ideology. Given the worryingly extreme lack of morals and standards displayed by most feminists, whether male or female, putting them in charge of integrity must be a bit like putting Tony Blair ( the ultimate cuck feminist or did Bercow upstage him?) in charge of the Middle East peace process.
"The Staff Corps consists of around 100 Group B reservist officers who operate at predominantly chief executive, director, and senior technical or operation manager level in large commercial enterprises or organisations.... Technical Communications, Corporate, Stratcoms, Advertising, Marketing, Digital Commerce, Banking and Academia among others."
So any ivory tower cuck or weirdo who can't hold their own in online debate can now be paid to call their publically funded trolls in?
Does anyone who isn't a sock puppet of the 77th ( @RoyalGreenJacket ) think that taxpayers money should be used to fund this? I've seen these troll factories develop in the civil service, informally at first with the director merely mentioning that their latest pronoucement will be tweeted later should anyone like to comment. Not that it might help your promotion prospects if you do of course. All the way to organised pile ons which clearly emanate from CS offices for journalists who dare criticise some aspect of policy or competence.
This however is some hardcore dystopian bastardry, the Army being used against the people and freedoms it is supposed to protect, trying to prevent the free speech which is the cornerstone of our civilisation.
More to the point the Army must truly be awash with money to dedicate any resources whatsoever to this abject nonsense. The Ministry of Demoralisation really has made Orwell proud, could we instead work to make him mere fiction again?
* Who had their twitter account hacked, amusingly.

77th Brigade
Challenge the difficulties of modern warfare. We are combined Regular and Army Reserve unit. Our aim is to challenge the difficulties of modern warfare using non-lethal engagement and legitimate non-military levers as a means to adapt behaviours of the opposing forces and adversaries.

Can't say I ever heard of the Stasi or Gestapo getting anything quite as wrong as that. The Scottish cybernats seem to be convinced that the 77th Media Mastodons was deployed en masse against them.
- Web Ops Team. The Web Ops Team collects information and understands audience sentiment in the virtual domain. Within the extant OSINT policy framework, they may engage with audiences in order to influence perceptions to support operational outcomes.
- Production Team. The Production Team design and create video, audio, print and digital products that aim to influence behaviours for both the Army and external audience. Additionally, they advise on campaign strategy and propose innovative behavioural change methods
