  1. Hi,

I need some paid back up on my assignments. I am studying Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector PTTLS 6302.

Are there any Arrsers who could read through my assignments and back stop as regards Harvard Referencing or just being a complete arrse? 4 assignments of 1000 ish words each plus the reflective learning journal.

Happy to pay cash or contribute to H4H.

Unfortunately, I am unable to re-apply in September as I will be overseas.

  2. Get on a DTTT course and get your CTTLS...

  3. Cheers Chocolate. One thing at a time. First the PTTLS, then the CTTLS before the DTTLS... and now back to Unit 8 in 1000 words.

It is interesting that we use 1 spoken word for which 6 written are needed... David Crystal.

SO how the **** are you supposed to answer this... in less than 200 spoken words...

    1. Provide a short evaluative introduction to roles, responsibilities and relationships in lifelong learning for new entrants to the profession.
Your introduction must address all of the assessment criteria for this unit.
You must include an analysis of the principles and / or theories that form a basis for teaching. There must be clear evidence of reading with appropriate referencing used.
    2. Make a detailed reflective journal entry to address assessment criteria 1.3, 1.4 and 2.3
The purpose of the unit is to enable the learner to understand the role and responsibilities of a teacher in lifelong learning and the relationship between different professionals in lifelong learning. It includes responsibility for maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for learners
    Learning outcome
1.1 The learner will understand own role and responsibilities in lifelong learning
    The learner can
1.2 Summarise key aspects of legislation, regulatory requirements and codes of practice relating to own role and responsibilities
1.2 Analyse own responsibilities for promoting equality and valuing diversity
1.3 Evaluate own role and responsibilities in lifelong learning
1.4 Review own role and responsibilities in identifying and meeting the needs of learners
Understand the relationship between teachers and other professionals in lifelong learning
    The learner can
2.1 Analyse the boundaries between the teaching role and other professional roles
2.2 Review points of referral to meet the needs of learners
2.3 Evaluate own responsibilities in relation to other professionals
    The learn will
3.1 Understand how to establish and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
3.2 Explain how to promote appropriate behaviour and respect for others

  4. I'm happy to read your assignments. But I can't really help you do them, without knowing you a bit better!!!

write the paragraph headings as above and list underneath the bits you think it is asking for.

    ie roles and responsiblilties.

    my roles are to...

    my responsibilty is to...

chuck in things like 'in a safe environment' and what not.

After you've listed the lists, you can strat to formulate the essay.

Re CTTLS, I did it without the PTTLS, so if this all goes wrong there is a way you can move forward with out stepping back.

DTTT is run at Pirbright, school of leadership or at the TA Training Centres around the country (formerly RTCs, I can't for the life of me remember what htey have just renamed to!)

  5. You might struggle with finding someone who's done that. I did the 7304 CTTL'S and that was only in 2008, before that it was the 7407.
It sounds like they've changed the course work again. I think chocolate has a point about the level 5 and I don't think routh have to be teaching full time (part will do even 1 class a week) to do it. Plus on application forms level 4 counts for crap, they ask for 3 or5.

  6. Donkey. thanks for the motivation... but you both have a point. As far as I know, 3 was re-written into 4. 5 is I assume a CTTLS and 6 is a DTTLS.

Back to 4 and Unit 8...

  7. Can i get a PM too please.

  8. PTLLS - Level 3 - Teaching assistant
CTLLS - Level 4 - Adult education teaching
    DTLLS - Level 5 - Schools teaching

As I'm guessing you've already stared, you've probably found that after you've got through and passed the first unit, the level isn't too taxing and once in the swing, you'll do fine.
