While clearing out my shed this week I came across my lost record/cd collection which I have built up over the last 35 years since I bought my first album black rose by thin lizzy, closely followed by Elvis costello's armed forces album.
through out the years I have been adding to list buying singles and albums of every genre.
Here are my top 5 songs, not all single releases some were only on albums, but when first listened to they made there mark
5..... Holy Diver by Dio great guitars and a voice made for rock.
4.... Pictures of Lilly by the WHO, always gets nd singing.
3... Bohemion Raphsody QUEEN no list is complete without this classic
2.. Circles by SQUIRE one of my favorite mod bands of my youth
1. Strength of the World by AVENGED SEVENFOLD I only heard it for the first time last year and the guitar riffs and melody are outstanding heavy metal at its best.
What are your top 5 songs?
My list is always changing and by time I sober up tomorrow it would probably change a little.
Just out of interest I have not included any of the dance tracks I love from motown, northern soul and 60s classic soul, that's another list with too many to name.

I've often thought it's an impossible question,
every day your mood and memory leads you down a different thought train, and you hear a song you haven't heard for years and think **** I used to like that, and others make you cringe thinking ..**** I used to dance to that.
not trying to spoil your thread but thats how I see it.

seasons in the abyss-slayer
stripped raped and strangled-cannibal corpse
hallowed be thy name-iron maiden
bleed me an ocean-acid bath
temptations wings-down

it will be different in ten minutes

I agree they do change, for instance today. I listened to ACDC, Bowling for soup and The Selector and thought I could of added them
