Well before my time …. still looks nicer than a LandieI wonder how many ex-WWII scalies can remember these? Possibly the forerunner of the Land Rover FFR, this is the Humber Super Snipe FFW. Basically an add-on to a civilian car, converting it to an 8cwt truck.

Yes, that would work nicelyWhats the consensus on the painting of desertised Jeeps for the SAS lot? I'm going to grab the old Tamiya one soon so part of the planned weathering procedure will showing a bit of wear. Am wondering if they would have been factory painted the usual green by our colonial chums & then oversprayed desert yellow in theatre - off the docks in Alex for example.
If so I can look at layering the colours with exposed metal/exposed green here & there.
