Am spending 3 weeks in France over the summer and would like to have a mobile data connection using a Mifi hotspot that I've got. Any thoughts on the cheapest/best way to do this as I gather you can't get PAYG sims in France?

  2. You can, or at least you could when I got one about 5 years ago. Take your passport to any mobile phone shop and you should get sorted. Ideally around Calais area as they are more used to dealing with Brits.

  3. Yes you can - or get a vodaphone sim here with roaming data.
  4. Or 3. V good SIM only deals.
  5. I took my passport to an Orange shop in Boulogne, I got a huawei dongle, sim and 10GB data package for about 70 euro. Quite expensive for a 10 day trip but I needed reliable coms to get work related updates and downloads etc.
