    My client is a supplier of Systems, Technologies, Products and services for the soil and groundwater remediation and landfill markets. They have decades of combined experience in the design, build, implementation, operation and maintenance of remediation systems. They are a motivated workforce of chemical, process, mechanical, electrical and environmental engineers, geologists and technicians. They are committed to quality and safety from project inception to completion.
    Job Description

    You will have an engineering honours degree, preferably with an Agricultural / Mechanical / Process or Environmental discipline, and minimum 3 years experience of working in industry.  Experience with soils and groundwater and water treatment would be an advantage
    You will have an interest in developing innovative technologies whilst seeking to further progress the technical strength of the Company and maintain our leading position amongst our competitors.
    You will have an interest in design and specification and to learn the various technologies of soil and groundwater remediation including catalytic oxidation, chemical oxidation, vacuum and pumping techniques, soil heating and variety of groundwater pumping and water treatment technologies.
    You will work alongside our Operations Manager to maximise the efficiency of the service team and process plant and equipment.
    You will have experience in project management and project engineering, the ability to interact with clients, work as part of a team and to take a leading role. 
    You will have some experience in the preparation of project quotations, contract negotiation and contract review/management

     
    As a Project Manager you will be expected to undertake the following tasks:

    Conceptual design and equipment specification;
    Estimation and quotations;
    Client interaction;
    Subcontractor and supplier management;
    Negotiating and contract management;
    Installation and commissioning;
    On-going system management;
    Fault diagnosis, repairs and servicing;
    Decommissioning; and
    Financial management and invoicing

     
    You will be highly self motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a close team in a highly niche market.
