24Hr rats

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Whats the score there then selling rations on ebay, i ?would have thought that would be illegal ? Especialywhen it says no resale on the photo. 8£ a pop though !!
  2. The walts must eat.
  3. It costs £11 to post 10 x 24 hr ORP. A mate told me.
  4. I think there is plenty of legitimate surplus out there, but why bother? you can buy nearly all of the constituents cheaper in Tesco's or camping shops anyway

    I think they can only be sold as 'curiosity items' and not, strictly as food, hence VAT at the standard rate and warnings such as 'eat at your own risk' etc;

    I did once buy a cheap box of US MRE's on Waltbay and was rather impressed with them, but I think the British ORPs are now as good, if not better.
  5. And you get a better choice of the constituent parts, you're not stuck with the choice of some bloke at HQ Land deciding chicken stew and rice pudding. (Not having my menu card at hand, as if!!)
  6. You got that fcuking right
