Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. As it the 24th anniversery of the invasion of the falklands by the Argies, no doubt the beeb will be putting from TV prog on about it, but will it be truthful or policital
  2. I think that they will wait until next year, 25 sells better than 24.
  3. Didn’t the BBC make one a few years ago, I think it was called ‘An un-gentlemanly act’. If I remember rightly it was pretty accurate and showed both the military and Falklander’s perspective.

  4. worm on a stick asked

They did and it has had a few mentions on ARRSE over time. Classic lines, the luvvies playing the Booties are spot on and the tracer will have you taking cover. Major Norman i/c of the Naval Party was military adviser.

A couple of continuity c0ck ups but otherwise highly recommended.
