For reasons I won't bore you with I've just finished watching 24 episodes of the first series of '24'. I couldn't believe how crap it was but it's won so much recognition, what's going on? Or did I just miss something. Here's some of my gripes: 1. CTU (counter terrorist unit) does it exist? 2. Why wouldn't you report your family kidnapped to the FBI who's remit covers kidnapping. 3. That girl Jamie got murdered in the hospital but nobody found out at CTU 4. Milo, the 6'6" tech freak dissipeared to make a cup of coffee in episode 6 and never came back! 5. How can a girl get kidnapped 3 times in 24 hours? 6. There was an endless supply of CTU agents and cops to get wasted by the bad guys. 7. The DOD has secret prisons in fields outside of LA 8. No part of LA is more than 10 minutes drive from another. 9. Sometimes CTU was part of CIA sometimes it wasn't 10. If you had one spy in CTU why would you want to have another?
