Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Re. a discussion at work; can anyone remember when 221 EOD Coy/Sqn was redesigated 921 EOD Coy/Sqn?

    Obliged, RMG.
  2. Was it not on the 5th April 1993 on the formation of the Corp. There was a confliction of numbers.
  3. It was later than that as I left in Jul '94 and it was still 221 EOD Sqn although I knew it had to change as the Sappers had 221 EOD Sqn (V) and were higher up the pecking order capbadge-wise. Negotiations were underway to settle on a number (ending in 21, obviously).
