He must have got ill pretty quickly, he looks like he's had plenty of time to get a nice tan funded by the tax payer I would imagine. :x

Good. A transplantable organ goes to someone who won't abuse it, and someone with no self-control reaps what he's sown. Result.

ferox-provinicia,

You are a cnut of the first water and I hope you never have to experience first-hand the damage alcohol abuse can do. Because if you'd ever got five minutes of service in (and that does not include servicing toddlers) then you'd know that it's no laughing matter and that many ex-services succumb to this. Would you post about one of them being found dead on a park-bench with the words '.....oh dear how sad.....'

Now why don't you fcuk of to your kiddie porn sites and hope that you and I never come face to face. You tssoser.

It's not a tan, it's jaundice.

I agree with the decision made. There aren't enough donor organs to go around so they should go to the most needy and those least likely to abuse.
Many people who need liver transplants have never touched a drop in their lives, why should they lose out to someone who has caused their own demise?
That having been said I totally disagree with tourist medicine whether paid for or not. I have signed a donor card to help someone after I go not to enable someone to get a fat profit.

Hey, MIT, can I please buy your liver?

Or I could swap them for a fantastic set of corneas. I don't need them as I wear contact lenses.

His death was voluntary.

No loss, really. The liver would have been wasted ( pace George Best. )

Excellent wah… but what the **** do you know about the subject?

Alchy ex Toms and Matlots? Yes, I'm well aware of the problem Mr Cvnt, my old man died at 56 from spending too much time drowning out a far too exciting service record… or how about one of my best oppos who drank himself into oblivion after seeing his mates killed in that little fracas back in '82?

But what exactly has that got to do with some 22 year year old chav **** who's only 'service' has been to sign on the dole and piss his life away downing White Lightning down the park got to do with post service alcholism?

Getting a drink problem dealing with PTSD after doing your 12 or 22 has got **** all to do with this dead chav.

What a lightweight.

"ooh I cant finish this, my livers packed up"....this countries alchoholics are going the same way as this site, a watered down shadow of past glories.

what happened to the hard bitten 65 year old Jakey, with deep russet brown fingers from clutching a clatty rauch to his constantly mumbling lips?

Constant government warnings about how much is too much of everything have bred a generation of "half arsed cant be bothered to go the distance" drinkers, with no eye to the future of owning some fingerless gloves and a greatcoat that makes passers by eyes sting, and has cartoon wavy lines coming off of it, while howling expletives in all directions and clutching the purple tin to your chest like a well earned badge of honour.

Whos going to be the future generation of people who double leg in the bakers, while other customers shuffle uncomfortably, and children ask what the funny smell is?

I fear for the future of this countrys once proud traditions, and this death is just the thin end of the wedge, mark my words.
