"Most ARRSE regulars will be aware that we run an annual charity auction to raise funds for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. Over the years this has gone from strength to strength and last year we managed to raise over £6000 pounds which is an incredible testimony to the generosity of you, our members. I'm sure everyone is aware of the excellent work that they do but, if not, then please have a look at the this thread.

This auction is for a hallmarked gold and sapphire bracelet, never worn in original packaging! Mint condition! Get sorted for your better half's Xmas present early this year ......

The bracelet is 7 ins long, and is from a jewellers called H. Johnson and Son in Nuneaton. It is in its original, immaculate packaging and has NEVER been worn.

    Kindly donated by bigbird67.

  3. 50 quid
  4. £70
  5. I'll give £100 if you collect it in person from her.
  6. Go on then £130 - curiosity killed the cat - and the wife won't get the saucepans I've had my eye on.
  7. Well ... looks like I nabbed that one... if you know what I'm to do now, let me know. I'm guessing - donate via the link on the sticky and get my address to you. I'm not good at PMs... email to contact at 7-62 dot com works much better.

I've never bid before... only donated prizes... I thought BCO/GCO locked the threads at the end and I used to get an email...
... but maybe they're going for the full 24hrs silence which is indeed very admirable.

hope you'll get in touch,- Chris
