Most ARRSE regulars will be aware that we run an annual charity auction to raise funds for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. Over the years this has gone from strength to strength and last year we managed to raise over £5000 pounds which is an incredible testimony to the generosity of you, our members. I'm sure everyone is aware of the excellent work that they do but, if not, then please have a look at the Royal British Legion website.

Kathy West is the UK's No1 Professional Uniform Model and a very long term supporter of this site. She has supported the ARRSE RBL Poppy Appeal auctions every single year that they have been run and this year is no exception.

Kathy has very kindly donated two bumper packs of her material for auction on the understanding that one will be sent to a unit in Iraq and another to a unit in Afghanistan. The winner of the auction can choose which lucky unit will receive the pack consisting of:

    5 x 2009 Calendars
    5 x 2008 Calendars
    5 x 2007 Calendars

    50 x WPC / Schoolgirl flyers
50 x JAG US Navy / Girl Scout flyers
    50 x Royal Navy flyers

5 x Giant size Nurse Special Posters
5 x Giant size Gymslip Schoolgirl Posters
5 x Giant Size Law Enforcement Posters

Personalized Christmas card each to officers and soldiers

The total cost of this would be in the region of £380 if bought from her fan club so this is an extremely generous offer and one that will significantly brighten up a lot of operational tours!

No advance on £45? Surely someone bringing a little bit of excitement to one of the following units is worth more than that.....

  8. Quick! Only just over an hour left to bid.

Auction extended until 2200hrs on 11 Nov - surely we can do better than this?
  10. Obviously theres alot of people on arrse who don't like naked women (airfix and smudge67 leap to mind)

  11. Don't the lads in Iraq deserve a little "entertainment" too?
  12. I'm feeling generous, must be the red wine.

"Right chaps, I hereby declare this auction closed and very many thanks to everyone who contributed. However the winner is fairmaidofperth with her bid of £100.

Can I ask you to pay via our Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Donations Page on bmycharity. This will ensure that the money goes to the right place and also allows the tax to be reclaimed. Once you've paid, drop us a line using this link (please) letting us know you've paid and picking a unit that you'd like to be the recipient!
  14. Will cough up tomorrow. Now off to bed!
